Mastering the Call to Action

Digital Advertising in Kalgoorlie means nothing if you don't understand how to use your Call to Actions or (CTA's), because a Call to action may be the easiest way for you to develop a lead. It can make or break depending upon how weak or strong your CTA is, therefore I wish to give you a few tips to make sure that you are doing the most you can to grow your brand and create those critical leads.

Wording

Really basic, stay clear from common words that are going to make you seem desperate or like you are pushing for a sale. For example, choosing between the words, 'buy' and 'shop' as a CTA, one might think that they both mean the same thing. But you will have to understand that lots of people on the net usually avoid commitment, therefore subconsciously even there is a inclination for customers to think that the word 'buy' is closing them into something, whilst 'shop' is a way for them to find out more facts. The issue I am aiming to make is that you really should think of the wording and avoid words that have unforeseen implications.

Shape and Colour

It may seem peculiar, but Shape and colour of your CTA can affect its success. In the world of Digital Advertising there have been a number of research studies into the idea of design and its affect upon a customer's perception, and essentially one idea claims that curves are the leading way to go. So, if you wish to try and optimise even more, think about making the button for your call to action curved, rather than a square.

Now, colour, this is a further area that there are a few theories on. Some people will have you think that green is wonderful because it means 'go', but to stay clear of red because it is 'stop', or that blue is calming so it may make consumers more relaxed ... Ultimately there really isn't any conclusive evidence to suggest one option over any other, so just select what works best for your layout. One point that I will point out though is that you should be aware of the font size and colour-- If you want your digital advertising to be most effective in the Kalgoorlie area, it is a smart idea to try and keep it different from the rest of your content, but don't go too crazy.

Location

Where your call to action is set is quite crucial to digital advertising results.

All that I suggest by this is make sure that you don't have it tucked away in a corner somewhere, or that you have way too much text that is complicating the Call to action.

Finally it all comes down to identifying the combination that works for you, remember your wording, shape, colour, size and placement of your brand's Call To Action, and when you bring all the components together just think practical and think about your client.

Boosting your Online Sales with good CTA's.
